Terms of Use

1. The service

ABBEV is a subscription video-on-demand service. It provides access to a catalogue of films, series and audiovisual content made available by partner producers and rights holders, for streaming strictly for personal and private use.

A subscription grants a temporary, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of access. It does not transfer any ownership of the content.

2. User account

• You must be at least 16 years old, or have the permission of a legal guardian.
• The information you provide at sign-up must be accurate and kept up to date.
• Your credentials are personal: you are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Notify us without delay at contact@abbev.tv of any unauthorised use.

3. Plans and prices

ABBEV offers three monthly plans, which differ by the scope of the catalogue available:

The prices above are in CFA francs. The amount actually charged is shown in your currency before you confirm, and may vary with exchange rates and the taxes applicable in your country.

Purchases on iOS. When you subscribe from an Apple device, the purchase is made through your Apple account and is subject to the App Store terms. The price shown by Apple at the time of purchase prevails over the reference prices above.

4. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same duration unless cancelled before the end of the current period.

• Payment is charged when the subscription is confirmed.
• Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The renewal amount is the price of the plan in force on that date.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: access remains open until then, and no pro-rata refund is made for the period started.

For a subscription purchased on iOS, manage and cancel it from Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

For a subscription paid by another method, cancel from your personal space in the app, or on request at contact@abbev.tv.

6. Permitted use

You may not:

• copy, record, redistribute or publicly broadcast the content;
• circumvent technical protection or geolocation measures;
• share your credentials or resell access to your account;
• use automated means to extract content or overload the service.

Any breach may lead to immediate suspension of the account, without refund.

7. Partner content

Content is supplied by partner producers and rights holders, who warrant that they hold the rights required to distribute it. The catalogue may change: titles may be added or removed during a subscription, in particular when a licence expires.

8. Service availability

We take reasonable steps to keep the service running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or external causes. Streaming quality also depends on your connection and device.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the amounts you paid over the last twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. Any substantial change will be notified in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Douala, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
